Ironman Tires gives trailer owners an option to review when replacing a compatible specialty trailer tire. At Liberty Truck Tires, the listed Ironman STR comes in ST235/80R16. This page helps you identify that product, check its current price, and prepare the information needed before ordering a replacement.
The complete size designation matters. The STR listing is for a specialty trailer application, so start by checking the trailer’s approved tire specification. Compare the size, required load rating, and wheel details together to establish whether the listed Ironman product fits your equipment.
The Ironman STR is a radial tire for trailer-only service, with reinforced ribs and a zigzag groove design. The listed ST235/80R16 version has a 12-ply rating and Load Range F. Review those details against your trailer’s requirements when assessing its suitability for towing and load carrying.
If you need several replacements, check each tire position and record the current specification. Tell us how the trailer is used and the loads it typically carries. This information helps you move from a general brand preference to a purchase based on the equipment’s actual requirements.
Trailer tire planning is useful even when the equipment spends part of the year parked. Before returning it to regular work, arrange an inspection of tire condition, inflation, and visible damage. Review the tire and trailer manufacturers’ guidance when deciding whether a tire remains suitable for service.
For a planned replacement, organize the order around the trailer’s availability. Let us know the number of tires needed, the required timing, and where the trailer will be located. If the existing tires show unusual wear, mention it when arranging service so the issue can be discussed.
